We so often let the little things slip by. If they don't seem monumental to everyone, they must not be important right? Wrong. It's like the Zac Brown song "It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most. Not where you live, what you drive or the price tag on your clothes. There's no dollar sign on a peace of mind, this I've come to know"
It really is the little things in life.
Things like a pedicure with your mom on her birthday. The friend who checks on you multiple times a day when you're sick. A quick ride up to McDonalds with your Dad to grab lunch. A simple thank you for a job well done. A weekend trip with your family. A hug when you need it most. Checking the mail and finding more than just bills or junk. Your favorite TV show. A song you know all the words to. Multiple snap chat videos of your friend lip syncing her heart out. Getting flowers just because. A piece of chocolate cake. A new outfit. Feeling rested when you wake up.
It's the little things.
So don't forget that.
Happy Friday (and long weekend!)
